Nature-based foraging and wiring workshops

Join world-renowned artist Rebecca Louise Law and be part of the making of a new nature-based artwork to be installed at Hay Castle in Spring 2027.

Rebecca works with communities to create striking installations made from thousands of individual flowers and plants that reflect the beauty of the local landscape.

We are running free, hands-on foraging and wiring workshops, accessible to all, leaving from Hay Castle at 9.30am to collect materials nearby. These will be followed by a wiring session with Rebecca, creating clusters that will become part of the artwork.

The workshops offer a unique opportunity to explore the local landscape, experience Rebecca’s creative process first-hand, and contribute to a major new artwork for Hay Castle.

Each workshop will run from 9.30am to 1pm. Workshops are free but places need to be booked.
